Green Tea VS Red Tea - Wholesome Life Journal

Green Tea VS Red Tea

Green tea has been long revered for its health and healing benefits, including DETOX and weight loss. While green tea has had a fantastic track record, are we overlooking a better alternative?

More recently there has been a rising alternative that has not yet become as mainstream as Green Tea, but it is rapidly getting traction in the underground alternative health and bio-hacking communities.

Why Has Green Tea Been So Popular?

Green Tea’s have been very popular for the last 5+ years and this is because Green Tea’s possess powerful antioxidants that contribute to minimizing health risks such as cancer and cardiovascular disease.

Green Tea’s has also been touted as a great method to speed up metabolism and promote weight loss.

These benefits have led to the massive popularity of Green Tea.

However, recently there is a new and better alternative that has been taking attention away from Green Tea’s.

It’s called rooibos...

Rooibos, also known as red tea, contains all the same levels of the same antioxidants as green tea does, but it goes further by providing additional antioxidants like aspalathin and nothofagin.

These antioxidants are comparatively rare to the ones found in green tea, and in addition, they help to regulate blood sugar, reduce excessive fat production, lessen stress, and inhibit metabolic disorders, something that Green Tea does not do.

Recent studies, of the major players in substantial weight loss, have shown Red Tea to be an essential part of daily regimens. In addition to helping prevent heart disease, diabetes, Alzheimer’s and more, it is now an easily accessible and effective solution to weight gain.

SO What Is This Red Tea?

Rooibos means “Red Blush”.

It gets this name because the health benefits of this plant are believed to occur when the leaves turn red due to a fermentation process. The true potential of this plant comes to life when the leaves turn red.

This is when the antioxidants are converted to a form that makes it easy to harvest and use in a unique tea blend to get the maximum health, detox, and weigh loss benefits.

Why Is Red Tea Better Than Green Tea?

This is a great question.

We have been using and comparing this red tea blend for the last year.

We have found red tea to be superior to green tea on just about every level.

FIRST: The taste. Red tea has a smooth and delicious flavor unlike green teas which are traditionally bitter and astringent in taste requiring many people to add honey or other sweeteners to the gree tea to make it more palatable. Red Tea is a healthy, DETOX tea that you will enjoy on it’s own.

SECOND: Red Tea has no caffeine. So you can drink a healthful cup at night and not have to worry about being able to fall asleep. This compares to Green Tea which usually is relatively high in caffeine and affect sleep or limits the times that you can actually drink green tea and not have to worry about sleep.

LAST: Red Tea is healthy and beneficial to both children and adults. The Red Tea blend we have used is delicious and palatable even for children, thus giving your kids all the same healthful benefits of this tea without having to sweeten it to get them to drink it.

We have enjoyed the benefits we get from this Red Tea Blend and you will too.
