Boundaries, Balance and Being Present – 3 Steps to Getting your Sanity Back

dv496066-56a4f28d3df78cf7728573a6Have you noticed how everyone around you, including you, is tired all the time? I have personally witnessed more overall complaining about life this year than ever before, and it seems to be affecting a great deal of people’s health and vitality.

I am also sad to say that it seems a great deal more people that I know in their forties have cancer and other severe conditions that they are too young to have and although social media makes us much more aware of these things, the statistics are becoming worrisome and downright sad.

Let’s face it! We are glued to technology and it’s beating the crap out of us. How often are you in the middle of a conversation and the person you are talking to picks up their phone and starts texting in the middle of the sentence? When did this become OK?

We are becoming slaves to our computers, phones, and Ipads and it’s creating a great deal of stress and anxiety because there are no more boundaries. Some people actually get agitated if you don’t answer there text or email quickly enough, and they seem to have no regard to the fact that you might be working or in the middle of a family event or doing something personal!

And don’t get me started on email alerts that pop up on your computer causing you to stop in the middle of a project to answer an email. (Read More)
